For Local Singapore customers

Q: Is it possible to order and have the shipment sent from Singapore?

A: Absolutely. However, please note that due to extended shipping durations, the lead time for your order may be longer. Additionally, there will be extra shipping and handling fees associated with shipments from Singapore.

Q: Can I place small orders within Singapore?

A: Absolutely. For orders within Singapore, they will be dispatched from the warehouses of CET Singapore's distribution partners. To place your order, you can either email sales@cetgroupco.sg or reach out directly to CET's distributing partners. Please note that the pricing will vary based on the quantity of your order.

Q: How long is the lead time for item delivery in Singapore?

A:

  • By Air Cargo: Approximately one week.
  • By Courier Service: Around 3 working days.
  • By Sea Cargo: Typically between 30 to 45 days.
  • By Sea for Consolidated Orders: It can take up to 60 days.

 

Order Processing

Q: What format should I use to send my Purchase Order (PO)?

A: Please send us your PO in Excel format to your dedicated Sales Manager (or) to sales@cetgroupco.sg.

Q: What are the pricing terms for the orders?

A: All orders are priced in EXW China prices, denominated in USD. Before placing your order, kindly discuss and finalize your preferred terms with the Sales Manager.

Q: What are the payment terms for the orders?

A: We operate on an Advance Payment term. Before placing your order, kindly discuss and finalize your preferred terms with the Sales Manager.

Q: How long does it take for your team to check stock availability and provide an Estimated Time of Delivery (ETD)?

A: Our team will check the stock availability and reply with an ETD within 3 working days.

Q: What if only some of the items I ordered are in stock?

A: If some items are available in stock, we'll dispatch them immediately upon payment receipt. Items not in stock will be placed on backorder and delivered once available.

Q: What happens if the items I ordered aren't available in stock?

A: If the items you ordered are out of stock, they will be placed on backorder. The production lead time for these items typically ranges from 30 to 45 days, based on the specific product.

Q: How can I ensure faster availability of items in the future?

A: We recommend providing us with an order forecast for 3 months ahead. This allows us ample time to prepare and ensure stock availability for you.

Q: What details are required upon order confirmation?

A: Upon order confirmation, please provide details of the shipment, including the port of destination, delivery address, choice between Original or Surrender BL, and whether you'll be using your own forwarder or prefer to use ours.

 

Shipment Matter

Q: How long does it take for air shipments?

A: For air shipments, the cargo lead time is an average of 1 week.

Q: How long does it take for sea shipments?

A: For sea shipments, the cargo lead time is between 30 to 45 days, depending to the destination country.

 

Payment Matters

Q: In which currency can I pay to CET?

A: You can make payments to CET in USD, SGD, and RMB. However, please note that our base currency for all quotation prices is USD. If you choose to pay in SGD or RMB, we will convert the amount using the monthly exchange rate accordingly.

Important: Please pay only to the bank accounts provided by the CET Sales Manager. If you receive a request about a change of bank account for payment, please do not make any payment before verifying with us first.
